About the District
The Southern New England District is a local chapter of the Precision Metalforming Association located in CT. The group meets regularly and our board is comprised of members from various sectors of the metalforming industry. Our board strives to provide our members with a forum for networking and new business opportunities.
The Southern New England District was the proud recipient of the Most Improved District Award for the 2001-2002 district year. The award is designed to applaud a district that has worked extremely hard to revitalize a district that was experiencing some tough times. In 2001-2002, our district went above and beyond the typical monthly meeting planning and successfully went from the 2000-2001 district year, in which no programs were held, to a year of many successful programs. Our district held a kick-off CEO Roundtable, a Lean Manufacturing Program, a Wintriss Die protection Clinic, which attracted more than fifty people, and hosted a joint golf outing with the New England District in June 2002.
Membership and activity in our district can allow your company to expand into new markets and enhance your employees' expertise and development.
